Visiting Frida's house?

I was surprised that on a Tuesday afternoon in January, the line to visit Frida Kahlo's big blue house in Coyoacán reached way down the block.

So here's a tip:

They use the ticket booth as a filter to keep the flow of visitors slow on purpose.

Hi, Jim, great advice. Thank you. While I've been many times, I wanted to take my son for his first visit on December 30. No luck. All sold out via online tickets.

I could not believe the discount for Adultos Mayores! I asked if it was only for Mexicans (as I was told at the Museo Anthropologia) but they said that it was for everyone. If you are over 60, the $15 entry leaves you plenty of pesos for the excellent $80 audio guide!
